Pair of Perrier-Jouet Mischer Traxler Green Flower Champagne Glasses

These stunning glasses are designed by Mischer Traxler for Perrier-Jouet and have the iconic Belle Epoque flower, and added details.

The tulip shape are a hybrid between a flute, a coupe and a white wine glass. They are designed to ensure that the bubbles properly rise and carry the aromas to the surface. The curve of a tulip glass starts with a gradual ascent like a coupe for heightened bubble creation. It increases into a vertical point so the bubbles build up on their way to the surface. At its widest point, a greater surface areas has more bursting bubbles to reveal the aromas. The aromas are contained within the tapered bulb and don’t escape, which allows concentrated aeration.
